Sarah Friar is Chief Executive Officer of Nextdoor. Sarah is a veteran when it comes to financial affairs, having been the CFO of Square (now Block Inc.) prior to her taking on Nextdoor. As Sarah helmed the company, it made its IPO in 2015 and experienced an incredible $30 billion increase in market capitalization.

Before joining Square, Sarah held the title of Senior Vice President of Finance & Strategy at Salesforce. Furthermore, she had executive roles at Goldman Sachs and various leadership positions in London and South Africa with McKinsey. Sarah currently also serves on the board of Dragonneer Growth Opportunities Corp. III, and she previously served on the boards of Slack Technologies (from 2017 to 2021), Dragonneer Growth Opportunities Corp. (from 2020 to 2021), Dragonneer Growth Opportunities Corp. II (from 2020 to 2021), and New Relic (from 2013 to 2018). She is a Fellow of the Finance Leaders Fellowship Program, an esteemed member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network and co-founder of Ladies Who Launch - an organization that fosters mentorship for women entrepreneurs.
