Sharon Mandell

CIO at Juniper Networks

Sharon Mandell, as the Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Juniper, spearheads the global information technology team. Her primary focus revolves around enhancing the company's IT infrastructure and application architectures to align with Juniper's growth objectives. Additionally, Mandell and her team are tasked with showcasing Juniper's technology utilization to a global audience.

Before her tenure at Juniper in 2020, Mandell held the position of Chief Information Officer at TIBCO Software. Her leadership experience evolved through roles at Harmonic, Black Arrow (now Cadent), Knight Ridder, and the Tribune Company. Over her career, she cultivated expertise in cyber security, compliance, enterprise architecture, data analytics, digital transformation, and customer service. Advocating for women in STEM careers, Mandell dedicates her free time to serving on arts, and education-related boards, and the computer science advisory board at Temple University.

Mandell earned a bachelor's degree in computer science from Temple University and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
