Samantha Kini is the Global Chief Information Officer (CIO) and Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at Unilever, a role she has held since June 2024. She initially joined the company in 2021 as the Global Vice President of Applications before taking on additional responsibilities as CISO. In her current position, she oversees both Unilever's information technology and cybersecurity strategies on a global scale.
Before her time at Unilever, Samantha held key leadership roles at several prominent organizations. She was the Chief Data and Information Officer at easyJet and the Chief Information Officer at Telenet. Earlier in her career, she spent nearly a decade at Virgin Media, where she served as Director of Development and Delivery for Technology and Transformation, and Director of IT Transformation, helping lead major technological advancements within the company.
Samantha Kini holds a Bachelor of Arts in Administrative Management from the University of Lincoln. With her extensive experience in IT and cybersecurity leadership across various industries, she has been a significant driver of technological innovation and transformation in the companies she’s worked for.
