Cindy Taibi is the Chief Information Officer at The New York Times. She has worked across the company in a variety of roles: as a Developer in the core print News Systems group; overseeing I.T. for the regional media group in the mid-2000s, as the Architect of the print advertising and business systems; and recently, overseeing the international infrastructure, including the bureaus. Making history, Ms. Taibi is the first woman to take up the CIO position at the Times and co-leads their Women in Technology group that works tirelessly to create events and initiatives for advancing more women into technology roles; aiding with recruitment, retention and progress overall.
