As Wayfair's Chief Technology Officer, Fiona Tan leads a worldwide innovation team in developing forward-thinking experiences through its industry-leading e-commerce platform. Prior to joining Wayfair, she worked as Senior Vice President of the U.S. Technology at Walmart, managing innovation and engineering projects for the company's website, app, and all associate/merchant technology across both its e-commerce and physical stores within the United States. Fiona has an extensive background in customer technology and engineering, having served as Senior Vice President of Customer Technology and VP of Engineering at Walmart. She also worked for Ariba where she was the Head of a global engineering team responsible for strategy development, lifecycle management, and delivery oversight for their Commerce Network as well as TIBCO Software.
Fiona's impressive educational credentials include two degrees from prestigious universities: a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Massachusetts Institute Of Technology (MIT).
