Yao Morin is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at JLL, where she spearheads the company’s global technology strategy, product roadmap, and delivery. As the leader of the centralized engineering group within JLL Technologies (JLLT), she oversees a team of more than 1,000 professionals dedicated to advancing commercial real estate (CRE) technology.
Yao joined JLLT in 2020 as the Chief Data Officer, where she played a key role in refining and accelerating JLL’s approach to leveraging data assets. Her work in gathering, storing, and extracting value from data has created new opportunities for investors, occupiers, and the broader organization.
Before joining JLL, Yao was the Chief Data Officer and Head of U.S. Engineering at StubHub, where she championed the company’s data strategy and led a complete data transformation. She also drove the development and modernization of Intuit’s data infrastructure in her role as head of data science and machine learning engineering. Earlier in her career, Yao worked as a research scientist at Intellisis and Parietal Systems, and served as a science adviser for Robins, Kaplan, Miller & Ciresi L.L.P.
